Hi,
My client has a site that uses Joomla Version 1.5.15 and Collector 0.4.1. I want to move/import the Collector data from that site to a new site that uses Joomla 2.5.14 and Collector 0.5.1.
Does anyone know if this is possible and if so, the best way to do this please?
Thanks

Re: Language file issue
Thanks Steevo,
I have a one year old backup of all of the files, would it be worth trying to overwrite/upload the files before trying to re-install?
Update: Overwriting the files worked. Thanks for your time.

Language file issue
Please help! My customer has just reported that Collector has stopped working and it would appear that the config can't find the language file. The button labels say ... "COM_COLLECTOR_SEARCH" and "COM_COLLECTOR_INIT". When I try a search I get an error console warning saying ... "Warning: Reference...

Re: Collector 0.4.0 showing all
One further question please.
How can I prevent people from searching for any word in an item's fields?
I want them only to be able to search for a specific item id, not date, description etc..
Thanks,
Tim

Collector 0.4.0 showing all
Hello,
In the front-end when I go to Collector all items are listed. If I search for nothing, all items are listed. How can I stop both please?

Re: Search Only
Thanks Steevo, My client makes products (bags, deck chairs etc) out of old sails (from yachts, hang gliders, windsurfers etc). Each product is sold with the serial number of the sail on it and we would like to enable customers to search the database for the serial number so that they can read about ...

Search Only
Hello and thanks for a very useful component.
I would like use Collector as a searchable archive only, ie. not displaying the complete list, just the item that was searched for. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Tim
