Hi,

Nice tool :) I've testing it and have found it nice to use. Some things which would be nice to see in the future.

1) possibility to import/export multiple entires from/to a file.
2) ability to choose and print (or export) a selection of chosen entires
3) links between 2 or more collections using the same system

Cheers
Juhana

Hi and thanks for your report.

The import/export option is the list of evolutions.
Can you explain your point #3 ?

What he means with #3 is a relational Database Management system, so you can use data out of table x in table y.

I'm creating a table with functions in Quattro Pro. To be consistent with the values in the Categorie-field, i use the defined lists. For example the defined list, it would be more simple to edit the items/records in this list by table.

I don't know what your skills are in database management, not that i'm very good at it. I'm a typical enduser. For example I use MS Access mostly to create collections.

Item #3 would be very helpful for me too. I hope you will consider this for a future release.

I'm not sure I'm understanding (because english is not my mother tongue).

Can you give me an example or something ?

Hi,
any news about mass import?
Your work is great and I want to use it in my site as a "record collector reference".
As you can immagine, a tool for import a huge amount of records at the beginning is almost mandatory.

Thank you for your work.

For the moment it is not developped yet.
I have made a script for my personnal use to import an excel files with more than 8000 lines.
If you need it, i can give the script but you have to adapt it to your own file.
