This is really a question not a problem, but I did not know where else to put it.

Is the data that is stored put into a database table in Joomla? If so which ones?

I would like to import a lot of data at one time if possible. I'm using it for a very different kind of use intead of collections.

You should really change the name of this. It could be used for so much more.

In the actual status, it could be used for many different things. But i will create some functionnalities only usable by collectors such as (sorry, i don't know the words in english) "mancoliste" (it means items that i'm looking for) "dispoliste" (it means items that i can change with someone).
So the component has been created first for collectors but it could be used for other applications.
