Hi,
My client has a site that uses Joomla Version 1.5.15 and Collector 0.4.1. I want to move/import the Collector data from that site to a new site that uses Joomla 2.5.14 and Collector 0.5.1.

Does anyone know if this is possible and if so, the best way to do this please?

I have a one year old backup of all of the files, would it be worth trying to overwrite/upload the files before trying to re-install?

Please help! My customer has just reported that Collector has stopped working and it would appear that the config can't find the language file. The button labels say ... "COM_COLLECTOR_SEARCH" and "COM_COLLECTOR_INIT". When I try a search I get an error console warning saying ... "Warning: Reference...

How can I prevent people from searching for any word in an item's fields?

I want them only to be able to search for a specific item id, not date, description etc..

In the front-end when I go to Collector all items are listed. If I search for nothing, all items are listed. How can I stop both please?

I would like use Collector as a searchable archive only, ie. not displaying the complete list, just the item that was searched for. Is this possible?
